Keith Walthers has been a huge fan of media and sales since childhood. Thinking he was good enough to be on air, he went to Loyalist College to study broadcasting only to be told that he had a wretched, scratchy voice. Dreams in tatters, Keith picked himself up and got a job as a producer and board op at CFRB 1010 in Toronto where he was exposed to big market radio and developed an even deeper love for the industry. From there he became Creative Director for a mid-market radio station where he learned the art of inventive ad production. He worked closely with the sales people and grew envious of their nice suits, better than average cars and seeming ability to come and go as they pleased.  This envy gave him the resolve to begin a life in sales.

He had won the prize for most chocolate bar sales as a child so he knew he had it in him. He wanted to move back to his hometown of Ottawa so he scored a job that gave him the flexibility to move, selling Life Insurance for Met Life. Life Insurance sales truly represented the school of hard knocks and while extremely difficult, the experience gave him a very strong foundation in the game of sales.  It also made everything else he has done since seem very easy!

Tony Carmanico

Since graduating from the University in Ottawa in 1981 with a B.Com. (hon) in marketing and finance, Tony has been directly involved in the sales and marketing of computer products and services for the past 33 years. Early experiences for Tony came from 2 local small companies, and 2 large multi-national companies – Digital Equipment and Wang Laboratories. Since playing a key role in the creation of CORADIX in 1995, Tony continues to play an active part in all aspects of the company’s day to day operations. In addition to his role as President of CORADIX, he plays an advisory role in MadAds Interactive, Dalian Enterprises and Ad Caffeine Digital Advertising which  operate in a shared infra-structure environment, under the CORADIX umbrella.

Under Tony’s leadership CORADIX has become of the top ten IT staffing companies to the federal government, as well as a recognized leader in the areas of Enterprise Content Management and Business Intelligence in the National Capital Region

Tim Boock

Tim is a record breaking results driven VP with over 20 years of digital, print, radio and television media sales experience. He has innovative international advertising and marketing media sales and analysis expertise.
Like many in the industry Tim got his start as a junior sales rep for a small start-up newspaper. He fondly remembers his first few days or weeks on the job as being “terrifying”. With a retail background he knew plenty about shoes and suits but very little about advertising.
After making countless rookie mistakes Tim managed to find his way to success in media sales. His career has included roles as Senior Account Executive, Sales Manager and Director, and Canadian Director of Sales.
As Vice President of Sales at Ad Caffeine Tim’s “leave it better than he found it” attitude has helped him become a trusted sales leader who consistently exceeds targeted results while maintaining financial accountability. Tim’s training, guidance, and practical approach to selling has helped hundreds of sales executives exceed their personal and corporate sales objectives.
Tim is a passionate and dynamic public speaker who has a unique ability to simplify complex marketing philosophies. His vast knowledge of media and its important role in the growth of businesses has led to the success of thousands of companies across North America.

Josee Dupuis

Director of Sales and Operations
Prior to joining the Ad Caffeine team Josée spent 20 years in a call center environment where she held many expanded roles. Josée has extensive experience in leading teams across multiple business areas. Experience in training delivery and understanding of the principles of adult learning; she successfully completed a professional certification as Instructor/Facilitator. Josée was also a project manager where she was responsible in managing all initiatives that required IT support and development where she had to work closely with each line of businesses across the organization, the partners and vendors to ensure smooth execution of all requests. Josée’s greatest strengths are her interpersonal skills and ability to quickly build positive relationships which she has found to be extremely beneficial when leading teams. She has a significant capacity for heavy workloads, strong organizational and time management skills and she truly stives in an environment that is fast-paced. When Josée joined the Ad Caffeine team she quickly realized that it was a perfect fit. The company’s culture, opportunity for advancement and the exciting team truly makes it a pleasure to come into work every day. During her spare time, Josée can be caught enjoying a nice glass of wine, red or white! Sitting at home, relaxing in her PJ’s and binge-watching some of her favorite TV shows. But when she’s not drinking a glass of wine or watching the latest on Netflix – she has a home decorating project on the go.

Charlotte McNeill​

Charlotte McNeill is the Director of Strategy and Fulfillment for Ad Caffeine Digital Advertising. Bringing her experience working both agency and product side of marketing, Charlotte manages both strategizing amazing marketing plans for clients while simultaneously bringing campaigns to life. She has helped countless clients create and execute successful campaigns to reach their business goals. 

Charlotte began her career in the world of consumer-packaged goods and product development. After trying way too many beauty samples to count, she realized that marketing products and services was where her passions lay. Travelling both overseas and within North America for business, Charlotte thought about how products and services are marketed not only in other countries but also across many industries.

Strategy is at the core of everything Charlotte does which is illustrated by her constant endeavor for efficiencies and new ways to reach core target audiences.  When offered the opportunity to become the Director of Strategy and Fulfillment at Ad Caffeine, Charlotte knew she could bring her experience and passions to the table – jumping at the chance to join the company!

Outside of work, Charlotte can often be found exploring the latest new restaurant or testing out her amateur sommelier skills at local breweries and wineries. In her world, a perfect Sunday is spending time outside with her two dogs Napoleon and Lizzie and relaxing at home with her husband Mark.

Patrick Chenier

Director of Integrated Marketing

Patrick Chénier is a Director of Integrated Marketing for Ad Caffeine Digital Advertising. He has more than 25 years of experience in advertising, sales and marketing. He was born and raised in Ottawa where he graduated from post-secondary school with specializations in marketing, business and advertising.

Patrick was the creator and proud owner of Craz E Crew Entertainment, one of the largest action sports thrill shows in the world, which performed shows and productions around the globe. Craz E Crew was featured on Canada’s Got Talent and finished as a semi-finalist earning the designation of one of the top acts in Canada. In 2014, the show was also chosen as the 10 best international acts to be featured on the first ever Got Talent World Stage Live in Mumbai, India.

He also helped produce three successful sponsorships campaigns with major companies including Barq’s Root Beer, Gillette Right Guard and Mountain Dew. These sponsorship campaigns were built to promote the companies’ products with the industry trend of live action sports entertainment.

At the same time as running his company, Patrick decided to pursue his career in Advertising where he spent 14 years as a Senior Account Executive at Sun Media. Overall, his marketing efforts have generated more than $12 million in advertising sales revenues.

Tim McKee, CD

Regional Director, Integrated Marketing

That focus lead Tim to spend over 20 Award Winning years in the Interior Design world. After transforming hundreds of homes and commercial spaces, Tim brought his customer first, creative attitude to the not entirely different environment of Digital Marketing in 2011. Since then he has become a Google expert that truly understands how digital marketing can change a business’ fortunes! Tim has been recognized for his excellence in the industry with 3 COPAs for campaigns he led. Tim has also become known for his ability to truly listen to his clients and turn their marketing goals into reality. He uses military precision (did we mention he also spent over 15 years in the Canadian Army Reserves) along with digital tools that not only work but allow for transparency in reporting that prove return on his clients’ investments. Tim takes the time to tailor every campaign specifically to the business’ needs. Tim and his wife Cindy have 3 children, 6 Grandchildren and live their lives at the Lake home they had always dreamed of!

Jill Martin

Integrated Marketing Specialist
With an extensive background in the world of media sales, Jill has been fortunate to work with a great group of people who share, collaborate, and challenge each other to achieve and exceed their goals. Starting her career with flyer sales at The Ottawa Pennysaver, a division of The Sun/Quebecor, Jill was successful in winning new business and within 3 months promoted to National Flyer and Display Sales within this newspaper chain. Two years later, Jill was promoted to Display Sales Manager. Close to ten years later Jill was promoted to Director where her responsibilities included sales, training, operations, community involvement, all while continuing to travel within Canada and the USA for the National Flyer and Display Sales department. To remain relevant in this online media age, Jill would lead the launch of The Ottawa Smart Shopper. Hiring a multi-talented editor, her team developed a fresh, current look, adding consumer-based editorial content. This provincial-wide newspaper chain adopted the new look created in Ottawa. After 15 years with Sun Media, Jill decided to hang up her frequent flyer miles and work within the community of Ottawa exclusively! She enjoyed 8 years with the Metroland Media Community Newspaper Group and focused on local business relationships. In tandem, enjoying 4 years as a Nepean & Kanata Chamber of Commerce executive board member. Jill was on many Chamber planning committees such as Golf Tournaments, Food & Wine Events, and Judge on the Annual Chamber Business Awards. Since the beginning of her career, Jill has always believed in the ‘giving back’ mentality, raising funds for such organizations as Make-A-Wish Eastern Ontario, The Royal Ottawa Foundation, Barrhaven Food Bank, Kanata Food Bank, The Ottawa Boys & Girls Club, Dreams Take Flight, and securing sponsorships from many of our generous local businesses! In 2019, Jill had the opportunity to join Ad Caffeine in an Integrated Marketing Specialist role. She enjoys partnering with local businesses to achieve their digital marketing initiatives, where they operate as a one-stop digital shop. Ad Caffeine helps customers drive growth by heightening their online presence, all while maximizing their advertising spend! Working in a fast-paced environment has taught Jill to take the time to share a good belly laugh with clients and co-workers. It makes the workday so much more enjoyable! Her interests include travelling, cooking, hiking, paddle boarding, snowshoeing, skating, and cycling.

Alyssa Mercer

Alyssa Mercer has recently joined Ad Caffeine as a Project Administrator. While studying in University Alyssa spent her free time volunteering which sparked the desire to find a career that would marry her passion for helping the community with her passion for Marketing. Since beginning her role at Ad Caffeine she has found that every day brings something new and she is happy to be surrounded by such a supportive team. She is excited to be a part of a company that shares her passion for finding creative solutions that positively impact companies, brands, and communities!

Chris Lawson is the Director of Finance and Administration at Ad Caffeine Digital Advertising. He oversees the administration, finance and information technology departments.

Marnie Berner

Accounting Clerk/Contract Administrator

Marnie Benner is an accounting clerk for Mad Ads Interactive Coradix Technology Consulting, Dalian Enterprise, Mad Ads Interactive and Ad Caffeine Digital Advertising. With years of experience in business and finance, she found her place here helping alongside a fabulous team of professionals in 2019. With many duties from payroll preparation, tax reporting, reviewing contracts, processing invoices, recording receivables and more. “I enjoy helping and working together and in cooperation with others and keeping an organized healthy process going. Always with a smile if I can help it”

Jodie Mallette

Integrated Marketing Specialist

Jodie worked in the optical field for ten years before motherhood came along. Then, she decided to take seven years off the workforce to care for her three boys. This time off work educated Jodie in ways that she never thought imaginable!

Her boys awarded her patience, kindness, and the ability to communicate effectively and genuinely understand a person’s needs and wants. But then, along came perseverance, motivation, organization, problem-solving, and time-management skills.

 

As her boys aged and needed less attention, she returned to school and received her esthetician diploma. Jodie spent countless hours of online learning to prepare herself for the dive into the Digital Marketing and Advertising field.

 

Now, let us get back to the part where the curiosity took place.

Her CV’s design, words, and presentation were as if she had been in the industry for 20 years already. So, here she is today, a creative, ambitious go-getter who is willing to give extra time and effort to ensure her client’s needs and goals have been victorious.
